According to the requirement of Accreditation in The Netherlands, a full education of acupuncture profession takes 3 years part-time study plus 1 year part-time education of Medical and Psychological Foundation study to fulfil 240 EC to be able to register as a national recognised therapist. Medical doctors, physiotherapists, BIG registered nurses, and other therapists with CPION or SNRO MBK diploma have the exemption.
